Demo development


Skipping straight to the point, I've moved things to Godot 4 and started working towards a viable demo for the game, over the last couple of months. It has been pretty slow, but I've managed to get down grid-based movement with pathfinding and enemy targeting with all the menus required for it. Fortunately, Dialogic has a Godot 4 branch for I won't need to worry about recreating VN mechanics. I think I might be able to swing using its save/load system to handle everything, but I haven't looked into it yet. I'll need to get a hold of an artist too, but I'm putting that off until I have a more concrete idea of what assets I will and won't need.

Enough rambling, I'll post again whenever I feel like I have something more to talk about(or I end up in another gamejam that interests me.)
